We are pleased to invite you to an online conference you with Marc Tempelman!
Wednesday, 20th may - 11:00 am
on Zoom
After graduating in 1992 from ESCP, Marc Tempelman embarked on a career in investment banking. Following three years at Société Générale, he joined Merrill Lynch in 1997 where he specialized in Financial Institutions, heading up the FI financing team in New York from 2007 to 2009. Following the merger with Bank of America, he ran the FI Advisory group in London until 2013, before co-heading the Debt Capital Markets & Corporate Banking Department and joining the bank’s executive committee for Europe, the Middle East & Africa until 2017, when he resigned from his Vice Chairman role. Following his return to Paris, (and after several months of doing not much at all), he co-founded the FinTech Cashbee, with the aim to help Europeans save better and more. Marc is Franco-Dutch, father of three and passionate about (Dutch) soccer and (good) food.
The digital revolution, possibly accelerated by the current Covid-19 crisis, is massively impacting the way financial services are delivered and consumed. Our relationship with money, already an emotionally-charged and culturally delicate topic, is evolving rapidly and in multiple ways. Will money as we know it disappear and is that a good thing? Helping me make the right decisions with my money is great, but who am I sharing my financial data with? And can I give meaning to my savings? These are some of the issues Marc will try to address in 30 minutes!
We hope to see many of you,
Marc Tempelman and the Communication & Networking ESCP Alumni team.
